Batteries for my camera are charged, tripod is placed in my bag which will be uncomfortable for the whole journey, and the bikes are sorted. Time for a 20 mile round trip to get some cool photos (I hope).

I’ve got a job sorted from the last week of July to the end of August this Summer up at Tan Hill Inn (highest pub in England) as the owners are family friends. It’s in the middle of the Yorkshire dales/slap bang in the middle of nowhere, so I’ll more than likely be posting a lot of landscape style photos during that time as on my days off I’ll just go for walks or around on my bike.
They do have a lot of bands going up and playing though and I’ll be getting photos of any other events that go on too, so I’ll still be updating but no the usual stuff really.
The Abolition/Fort Vallance etc show in Southampton will more than likely be the last show I’ll be getting photos at before the Outbreak Fest weekend, but at least it means I’ll be able to treat myself to some new equipment for then though.

is that stuff anygood? Considering picking some up
It’s obviously not the best stuff you can get but it’s good if you’re not expecting anything amazing, but I’ve got some pretty cool shots using it sometimes.
Bar the top three rows, these were all taken using this film and a point and shoot I got off eBay so they come out alright! http://www.flickr.com/photos/iamsayum/sets/72157628969421225/
It’s good for using at the smaller hardcore shows for sure.

Poundland?
Of course haha. The closest one to me (in Bournemouth) has stopped stocking it so I cycled over to Poole today to pick some up, might as well get enough to not have to go back again for a while.
Not really, before I started talking photos at shows I wasn’t one to mosh or whatever anyway. I like taking photos at shows, it means I get a better view a majority of the time.
Plus I have braces and wear glasses, I’d rather not have a bust lip or broken glasses.
Ps - When Take Offence and Power Trip do a UK tour together, I’ll mosh.
Stopped bidding on one of these are it went higher than I wanted to pay, in the end I bid at the last second and won it. Probably shouldn’t be spending that money but whatever it’ll be cool to get some film shots using one of these.
I thought it was a print on canvas at first (I don’t know why I thought that) but realised it’s a shirt now, dont worry I was going to be getting a free shirt for them using the photo from the start haha.

First year of university done. Time to get back on my bike, pick up some more film and take some more photos. Need to sort out travel for the next few shows I’m off to as well, and getting this zine finally printed.

If any people who live in mainland Europe follow me on here, you should definitely get to any of the shows on this tour if you can make it. Plus buy some of the new Broken Teeth merch ‘cos it’s got a photo of mine on it.
Completely forgot about this photo, just found it when going through and deleting some old folders.

Still need to book trains and sort out where I’m staying, but I’ll be at this next month as it’s the only show on the tour I can get to.
Full lineup is:
Going to be a good one.
I was late to the party on this band but the demo is fucking great. Real dudes playing real hardcore punk. Bravo gentlemen.
As above.
